Dear Fellow Angelenos,
I was raised in a working-class neighborhood where I saw firsthand what happens when communities are overwhelmed by crime, addiction, and instability. At a young age, I chose to be part of the solution and not fall victim to these realities.
For nearly three decades as a prosecutor, I stood in court and announced myself as appearing “For the People,” holding violent offenders accountable and fighting for victims who deserved justice.
Now, I am running for City Attorney because Los Angeles deserves to be safe, and because public service should mean service to the public—not politics as usual.
We must restore order, enforce the law fairly and consistently, and ensure that neighborhoods across this city are places where families can thrive. At the same time, every city department must be held to the highest standard of integrity, transparency, and accountability. As your City Attorney, I will do just that.
